About us

Kommunikation Ost-West (East-West Communications), KOW, was established in 1997 with domicile in Andelfingen, Switzerland. Since then, it has provided support to small and medium sized businesses from Central and eastern Europe in building up solid business relationships between export partners.

Proximity to and knowledge of markets form the key to business success for exporters. East-West Communications offers the export services which small and medium sized businesses most often require in language supported forms: in Russian and Serbo-Croatian, as well as in other eastern European languages.

The external KOW network with its expert, competent employees cooperates in close association with us and our clients. Thus we are able to construct a bridgehead in your target markets. Our goal here is to complement your export manager in exactly those places where you need us.

KOW actively observes a lean business structure. This permits us to work for you with full awareness of costs and taking the special prerequisites of small and medium sized businesses into account.

Office in Switzerland
Regula Spalinger, Manager of East-West Communications, is a certified manager of foreign business from the EVA (Europäischer Verband für Aussenwirtschaft, European Association of External Economy). She completed long sojourns in Russia (St. Petersburg) and Croatia (Zagreb). In 1994, she completed her university education in Slavic languages and English in Zurich, Switzerland. She has many years of experience in the coordination and management of projects involving foreign trade, as well as long-term practice as a translator.
The KOW office in Switzerland offers export services at the front, in conjunction with contractual partners and other economic offices in Eastern Europe and Switzerland. Expert translations in almost all eastern European languages.
