Regula Spalinger, General Manager

“Good products alone are not enough to capture markets in Eastern Europe. What are essential are good personal relations even in the business environment. Successful business dealings in Eastern Europe are much more personal than in Central Europe, a fact that makes carefully selected and screened contacts the key requirement.”

Welcome

Kommunikation Ost-West (East-West Communications) is a leading Swiss economic consultancy for business relations between Central, Eastern, and Southeastern Europe. Paving the way for Swiss, German, and Eastern European companies since 1997, Kommunikation Ost-West opens up new markets through marketing research and targeted, branch-related information. We find qualified distribution and cooperation partners, assist in the establishment of branch offices and subsidiaries, and recruit personnal for specific management functions related to Eastern Europe.

KOW has an in-house department for supplementary translations and interpreting services (simultaneous/consecutive interpreters) for all Eastern European languages. Our clients include major companies as well as SMEs, Swiss Federal Departments, legal authorities and private persons.

As business consultants, we work in the seminar arena. We provide a conference interpreter for federal agencies, export promotion agencies, and other clients. We are frequently consulted for tasks as co-organizers, for example, in Business-to-Business (B2B) meetings, for business trips to Eastern Europe, in the organization of bilateral meetings, or for training days for East European or Swiss experts in their respective host country.
